\nWe are seeking to hire Lead Design \u2013 Renewable Energy Unit to lead the design function within its Renewable<\/span>
\nEnergy Unit, with a primary focus on photovoltaic (PV) projects.<\/span>
\nPOSITION PURPOSE<\/span><\/strong>
\nThis role is responsible for ensuring the technical excellence, consistency, and compliance of all design deliverables\u2014<\/span>
\nwhether developed internally or by third-party consultants. The Lead Design will oversee the full design lifecycle,<\/span>
\nincluding coordination of preliminary studies, permitting processes, and alignment with company standards, client<\/span>
\nrequirements, and regulatory frameworks.<\/span>
\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u2022 Lead and coordinate the design process for renewable energy projects, primarily PV plants.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary Design Team (civil, structural, electrical, mechanical).<\/span>
\n\u2022 Review and validate designs from external consultants for quality, compliance, and constructability.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Oversee preparation and submission of technical documentation required for permitting processes.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Manage third-party consultants conducting environmental, geotechnical, hydrological, seismic, and<\/span>
\ntopographical studies.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Ensure alignment of all design outputs with national regulations and international standards.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Prepare or supervise conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design documentation and technical reports.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Conduct technical due diligence prior to final design handover.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Establish and maintain design control procedures, including documentation and version management.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Collaborate closely with Supervision and O&M teams to ensure smooth project transition.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Define and implement tools, workflows, and methodologies to improve design efficiency.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Represent the company in technical meetings with Clients, Contractors, and Authorities.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Oversee preparation of Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications.<\/span>
\nMAIN REQUIREMENTS<\/span><\/strong>
\n\u2022 Master\u2019s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.<\/span>
\n\u2022 8\u201310 years of relevant experience in engineering design and coordination, preferably in renewable energy.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Strong technical expertise across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Proven experience in design management, permitting processes, and consultant coordination.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Familiarity with international standards (Eurocodes, IEC, EN).<\/span>
\n\u2022 Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle (from feasibility to implementation).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.<\/span>
\n\u2022 High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.<\/span>
\n\u2022 Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, PVsyst, PV case, MS Office).<\/span>
\n\u2022 Fluency in English (written and spoken).<\/span><\/p>\n
