Redi Basha
CEO

Redi Basha currently serves as CEO of Abkons. Over his years with the company, he has managed a growing portfolio of projects and clients all over the Wester Balkans, in the process becoming one of the foremost advisers on legal issues ranging from infrastructure to energy, natural resources, mergers and acquisitions, competition, commerce and trade. He was instrumental in enabling major infrastructure projects in Albania and the Western Balkans, such as the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, by managing secure land access and permitting procedures, and he is also one of the co-authors of Energy Strategy 2030 which outlines solutions for improving energy sector policies and the development of regional energy markets.

He has served with distinction in a number of key positions in the public and private sector, in the areas of governance and local development, land management and asset inventory, capacity building and tourism development. Currently, his main focus is on analysis and monitoring, donor programming and budgeting.
