The “Thanas Ikonomi” school is located in the Grecalli village, the Municipality of Fier. Built in 1975, the school has been gradually deteriorating to the point that some of the students stopped attending it due to safety concerns. Tirana, Albania. During pipeline construction works, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) discovered a building complex spanning various historical stages. The site includes structures from the 6th century to the 17th – 18th centuries and is located near kilometre 137 of the pipeline route in Albania, close to the Fushe-Peshtan village, some 140 km from Tirana. Fier, Albania. In March 2018, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) completed the reconstruction of the Mbrostar water supply system in the Municipality of Fier. The new water supply system – an investment amounting to approximately €556,500 – now serves more than 10,000 residents in six villages in this region. Bilisht, Albania. The Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) has provided €600,000 to completely renovate the “Fuad Babani” High School in Bilisht, Albania. The initiative is part of TAP’s Social and Environmental Investment (SEI) programme, improving the studying conditions for approximately 800 students. The school renovation included: refurbishing the internal and external school premises, renovating the gym and installing a central heating system.
